Submission Guidelines and Rules

1. Pages submitted are to be 5 inches wide and 8 inches high.
2. MAKE SURE ALL HANDWRITING OR FONTS ARE LARGE ENOUGH, LEGIBLE AND DARK ENOUGH TO READ.
3. Comic pages are to be in black and white, greyscale, toned, or colored. Inked lineart is also acceptable or DARK pencil work. Please make all pagse of a chapter done in the same way (do not color some pages and tone some and just sketch others; color ALL, tone ALL, lineart ALL).
4. A High resolution and low Resolution version of comic pages is required. If only submitting one, send high resolution. High res = at least 300 DPI, low res = 72 DPI
5. ALL CHARACTERS must be named after an inanimate object. NO NORMAL NAMES. Only unusual animals (please, no Cat) are acceptable. Names must be in English. Don't think because it's pretty in Japanese or Spanish etc. that it will be approved. Nothing insulting or offensive. No racial slang.
6. New characters may be submitted without a story. But if new characters appear in a chapter their data MUST be presented during story approval.
7. The project is pg-13. Mild cursing, brief nudity, minor adult content, mild violence. Nothing that would offend your grandma.
8. Chapters are to be between 5 and 50 pages in length along with a cover not included in page count(meaning 6 to 51 total pages). Cover will display chapter title and at least one character involved along with the name of the artist and any other credit the artist requires. Do the cover LAST so you may add the chapter number. Chapter numbers are assigned as stories are completed in the order of completion.
9. Full Body Colour reference required for all characters submitted. Reference may be provided at completion of chapter, but data must be provided at summary approval submission.
10. There is no determined deadline for Chapter completions. You may finish in a week or a year, however long it takes.
11. Please remember, anything submitted becomes part of the Namesake collection.
